點解香港 加拿大會經過北極?

This is because both North and South Pole have far less turbalance and windy... And also, flying though North Pole is the most direct way to Canada and Eastern USA...
So as the distance make the flight shorter and less turbalance and wind... So that flying though North Pole is the best way to get there...
For flights to Toronto and Eastern USA, it would get more or less directly over North Pole while flights to Vancouver will only touch the Arctic Circle...

從亞洲飛美洲經北極必須經過俄羅斯，在蘇聯解體前不可能。因此亞－美洲Polar flights是90年代中以後的事。但亞－歐或美－歐則可以不經蘇聯，在70年代多屬此類。

香港往回加拿大經過北極上空的航程會比較短，情形就像一個圓球的一点往另一點用直線相連。這是最短的距離。
