No Smoking in Hong Kong

Smoking has long been considered as a major problem on the globe and people are getting more and more concerned about the smoking butts today. Why is this topic so eye-chating? Chiefly due to its potential risk to human's health. Recently, Hong Kong has legislated a new law to prohibit all the light-ups of cigarettes in indoor areas and some designated outdoor areas. Although this move has sparked a public outcry between smokers, throngs of non-smokers in the territory hail the policy. So, what exactly are the consequences of heavy smoking?

Smoking poses a profound influence to the smokers' health, procuring a serious of health complications, like lung cancer. Those chemical substances are collectively known as "carcinogens" which is the main factor of causing cancers. Lung cancer is also known as one of the "killers" in Hong Kong, followed by the breast cancer. It is obvious that smoking brings you no advantages, but just a health plight.

Though smokers acknowledge these threats so much, they just can't help smoking. Addition to the tobacco office, I suggest the authorities setting up an organisation to decentralize all the smokers together to provide them with remedits to quit smoking. Quitting smoking is no easy task but is the only way for smokers to lead their life to a happier path. With this, the government can really achieve their ultimate aim - "Non-smoking Hong Kong".
