WHO THINKS myspace is bad???

may myspace burn in hell for all eternity!

it's alright...not bad...only people like to misuse it.

It's only bad if it is used bad. My friend's teenagers and their friends use it a lot, and love it, but my friend monitors everything her kids are doing while using the web. Some teenage girls in Greenville, SC met some men on myspace and, without their parents' knowledge, met these guys at a local motel where they were raped. Now the parents are suing myspace. Personally, I think the parents hold some responsibility by turning their kids loose on the Internet and not knowing what they were doing or who they were contacting.

MySpace is what you make it to be. I for example have made many friends and also use it to network my music. It can be additcting but only if you let it. If younger kids use it then they should be monitored so that they dont end up being harmed. There are many ways of keeping it safe.

basicly its like any other thing .. is TV bad ?? .. no .. if you get addicted to it and dont do homework dont make a move to make it far in life to watch TV then the TV becomes bad.

So again MySpace is what you make of it.

I do. It probably desensitize a lot of young people. old people are in my space too and are talking to many young ones I know of some old people like that and hate it.

It is bad for like rapists and molestors stalkers and predators but it is VERY addicting so if u havent made one then dont cuz that is all you will b doing evryday

Myspace isn't bad. It's people's misuse of it that is bad.

I'm able to keep in touch with my favorite bands. I've actually had an older favorite performer of mine respond to an email I sent personally. I have gotten back in touch with a couple of people that I went to high school with and haven't spoken to since I graduated. I also like to randomly look at people's profiles that I don't know. It's interesting to see so many different directions that people take their lives in. I've been inspired by profiles and blogs of people I'll never meet.

But, like anything else...money...SUVs....hand guns...butcher knives....there are people out there that will use inanimate objects or systems for not-so-good purposes. Parents need to monitor their kid's internet usage and online presence. Keep the goverment out of it.

security-wise it's pretty darned bad, especially if u put extra info like pics, address, name, phone # etc. anything in the asl is bad on there, too. people can track u down from there. sex predators are always on the hunt on myspace.

me, way to much personal information going back and forth.

It kind of sucks. I like to check out band sites on there occationaly but other than that it's pretty lame.
