The Bun Festivalis hald every year on Cheung Chau.It is celebrated on the eight day of furth of lunar calendar.
It is said that the festival began whan a lot of people became ill in the village hundreds of years ago.The village thought evil spirits made the people ill so thay walked around the island to scare the evil apirits away.
