The following equation represents the reaction of ethanol (C2H6O) with oxygen:

C2H6O + 3O2 ----------> 2CO2 + 3H2O

What is the mass of water formed when 4 moles of ethanol react with 9 moles of oxygen?

Ans 係 162 g ... 姐係有 9 mol of H2O ...點解???

請大家詳盡答... 有咁多step寫咁多step , 加中文解釋最好... 唔該

真正熟識既人係會一針見血 當然我未到呢個level啦

其實入面包括左excess(過量)同limited(極限)的概念
好明顯 C2H6O 係過量
the ratioog of C2H6O : 3O2: 2CO2 : 3H2O =1:3:2:3
所以(記住用符號!)No of mole reacted of C2H6O=9/3=3mole
所以C2H6Oexcessed!
no of mole of h2o=9mole
mass of h2o=9x18=162!

其實套用我老師既一句
平時出街 你多數都唔會用七蚊就帶七蚊
你一定有帶多錢(excess) 但係又一定有人要咁多就帶咁多(limited)
所以我地一定要用ratio黎check岩唔岩比例呢?
如果 C2H6O係limited既話
o2就有3x4=12mole
咁佢得9mole波
唯一可能就係C2H6Oexcess啦

係條equation中,O2同H2O的比係3:3=1:1
因此1 mol的O2= 1mol的 H2O,
so 9 mol的 O2 就有 同比例9 mol的 H2O了~
不過你有冇打漏野呢?ETHANOL個D MASS都冇點做...
