Can I join Investment Bank

I have been working in commercial for almost ten year which mainly working in relationship management, product specialist and service coordination. I would like to change to investment bank for better prospect.
Is it possible for me to change to i-bank. What type of function suitable for me. How can I get into

Your qualifictions are good enough, but your age is a bit high to start a brand new career on a new trade. Still the chance for you to do it NOW will be better than later.

I suggest you to consider private banking instead of i-banking. Private banking demand good personal networks, which you have some from your current job. Even your existing networks will not fit to your new job, your experience in managing people networks will surely an asset in private banking.

I-banking demand both high net-worth networks AND knowledge on advance financial tools/techniques. Your two masters may have covered some of them, but you have no practical experience using them.

I would not say you don't have a chance on i-banking. You should try applying to both. I just want to let you know where are strengths are.

Although you've your strengths, the basic requirements to join an investment bank is your education and your qualifications.
You can surf on their websites see whether they have any vacancies or not.
