Gold Coast Package

I assume that you are going to Australia on March.

It's an acceptable price. Flights from HK to Sydney costs around HK$6000 including tax. Domestic flight from Sydney to Gold Coast will be around HK$700 each way. Totally one person need to pay around HK$8000 for air ticket. Legend Hotel will cost you HK$1000 per night. So, it's ok in price.
Both Virgin and Virgin Blue is good in service. Don't worry
I stayed in Legends Hotel before. It's good. Good location (next to Surfers Paradise), clean room, nice buffet breakfast. It's worth to stay.
It depends on what you will do there. If you will fly on hot balloon, go to more one day trip from Gold Coast and Sydney. of course you need to have more money. Normally you need to spend A$50 a day for food and travel in city. Around A$120 - 150 for an extra activities or daytrip. So, please addup by yourself
Actually Gold Coast is not good for swimming It's for surfing !! The surf is so big and you cannot swim there... Having a sunbath is ok, but since March is near Autumn already. It's not as hot as in summer.
