The number of Secondary One Discretionary Places for the 2007/2008 academic year is 48.

Admission Criteria and Weightings
1. Excellent/good conduct is a prerequisite for selection.
2. Selection for interview will be based on applicants’ academic results, discretionary places rank order, extra-curricular activities and awards. Selected applicants will be invited to attend an interview in March 2007.
3. The overall admission criteria and weightings will be as follows:

Remarks
1. Tentative interview date will be on 24 March 2007 (Saturday).
2. Applicants may apply to NOT MORE THAN TWO secondary schools listed in the “Handbook for Application for Secondary 1 Discretionary Places”, otherwise his/her chance of acquiring a discretionary place will be forfeited.
