when yahoo and google start the business ?

Yahoo! was founded by Stanford graduate students Jerry Yang and David Filo in January of 1994 and incorporated on March 2, 1995. Yahoo! had its initial public offering on April 12, 1996, raising $338 million, by selling 26 million shares at USA $13 each.

The domain google.com was registered on September 14, 1997, and the company was incorporated as Google Inc. on September 7, 1998. Listed in 2004, Google was added to the S&P 500 index on March 30, 2006.
