let the lower side be xm long.area of trapezium = (upper side + lower side) x height / 2
66 = [(x-6) + x] x 6/2
66 = (2x-6) x 3
22 = 2x -6
28 = 2x
x = 14
the lower side is 14m long

(X+X-6)×6÷2=66
(2X-6)×6÷2=66
(12X-36)÷2=66
12X-36=132
12X=96
X=8
