A recent article published on BBC Chinese.com revealed that nearly three out of four employers in the United Kingdom banned Christmas decorations in the office fearing it would offend people from other faiths.
Changes in the nature of Christmas celebration did not occur suddenly. The Birmingham City Council would like to use "Winterval" to replace "Christmas" as council officials hope to create a more multicultural atmosphere in their multi-ethnic society.
