a) Arrange the estimates in order of accuracy:3.1416 => error is about 2.3*10^(-6)
22/7 => 0.04%
3.14 => 0.05%
b) 22/7 is usually for primary or junior secondary schools.
22/7 or 3.14 is usually for engineering work where accuracy above 99.9% is already practicable.
3.1416 is for higher precision calculations.
