dude, i dunno ur current english level, but in order to gain it, u gotta read newspapers in english, try not to read da translated subtitles frm english films, (know it might b hard at da beginnin', but remember practice make perfect). and also read books which help da most. its better to read them wif da similar level as urs, bcoz if its too easy u ain't learnin' nothin or if its too hard, u might lose interest in 'em. other thing which can practice is to communicate wif non-chinese speakers as much as possible.

english become more and more important now,if you want to improve your english,the most important is you really want ,don't forgive up easily and keep on practice and do more exercise.

watch the TV news (of course english )
try to chat with your friends or teachers with english~and use english while playing msn or icq ...
