LHS=[cosxcotx/(1-sinx)] -1
=(cosx*(cosx/sinx)/(1-sinx)) -1
=(cos^2x)/sinx(1-sinx)-1
=[cos^2x-sinx(1-sinx)]/sinx(1-sinx)
=[cos^2x-sinx+sin^2x)]/sinx(1-sinx)
=(1-sinx)/sinx(1-sinx)
=1/sinx
=cscx
