You should not have much of the side effect, although some women notice increased acne and a slight weight loss (1 to 2 pounds). Some women do have "side effects" with their "off pill" periods, however. Periods can become heavier and have more cramping. Some women also have increased PMS off the Pill. And unless you went off the Pill in order to become pregnant, please use another method of contraception!
