Geography

On map,objects are shown by using symbols.These symbols are called conventional sign.They are the key to reading maps.

in hk, slope and boulders are man-made feature because they have to reassure that the slope is safe by putting boulders at the bottom to aviod landslides....

also if they want to build a road around the mountain they will have to cut the slope in order to build the road they want.. and also of course put boulders at the boulders...

快速公路 = motorway
公路主線= highway
公路支線= don't know about this one... i think it will be link-roads.. but not sure
all 3 of them above have not got traffic lights until you get to a junction, then there will be traffic lights... like when you get to a roundabout.. or something like that..
and they are not neseccary to be all on the ground.
they can be above ground as well..

Elevated road i think it's mean.... a road which can have a lot of cars contain on it and also have railway as well... but i am not sure on this one as well..

-- Q.In the map, 快速公路有冇話red in colour 好過pink in colour??定both??
