Someone believes an effective way to dump their smaller counterparts out from the market is price competition. Personally I doubt that. Price wars should never be the best way to conquer your competitors, but introducing new products, service and brand image does. The theory survives because smaller factories seldom spend on service enhancement, rarely do they invest on advertisements or marketing. It’s thus futile to compete solely on the basis of prices. What’s more, this elementary form of competition no longer effects on customers with a thorough mind. And marketers won’t be interested to advertise your products given no profitable returns.
