I choose dogs. They are people's best friend. They like to be with people.

Teenagers can learn to be responsible. If teenager learns to take care of dogs, they know how to take care of themselves. Like rabbits and gold fish, we have to feed the dogs too. We have to take them to the animal doctor (vet) when they are sick. We have to play with them. Teenagers love to play too. So I think dog is a good pet for teenager.

A small dog does not take up much space. Actually, they just need as much space as a teenager. So space is not a problem. Teenagers can walk the dog and exercise at the same time.

We can feed the dog food for us, but no salt or oil. To save more time, they can get dog food which can be very expensive. But if they are sick, that can be expensive.

Teenagers will learn to love and be loved with dogs which we cannot get from a gold fish. Rabbits are too fragile. They die very easily. They have lots of hair. There are dogs with less hair. I think keeping dogs as pets is more rewarding.

* In Hong Kong most teenagers live in a apertment so have a dog as a pet a very hard job, as you know dog need a lot of fresh air so therfore the owner of the dog have to take it for a walk or a run nearly every day but for a teenage who live in Hong Kong they need to face a lot of test or exams so therefore they don't have the time needed to take care for the dog. So I don't think a dog will be a good pet to have for a teenager who live in Hong Kong.
I thing gold fish will be a good pet for teenagers who live in Hong Kong to have because not a lot of space in needed and it is also look nice in his or her bedroom.*
