It is generally considered a virtue to always tell the truth, but there are occasions when telling the truth may not be the appropriate thing to do. Do you agree with this statement? Use specific reasons and examples to support your position.

Sometimes, knowing the truth may drive somebody to crazy. If you tell a child the truth that his father has died, then it may hurt her mentally and he is too young to analyze what happen.For a child, he may not understand the meaning of death. So it is better to say with tactics, to tell the child that his father has gone very very far away. When he grown up,he will understand it is not a lie and the saying doesn't harm her.
