The value of volunteering
In this capitalist society, often people forget to give of themselves to others less fortunate. This is when volunteering comes in, it provides relief for those in need often unable to help themselves. It brings people together who shares a common view of a less selfish and materialistic world. Volunteering is not only one sided, many volunteers will tell you that the experience is once in a life time and one that they will cherish for a long time. Also it is a highly valued experience in the corporate world as it shows innitative, empathy and high morale values. Volunteering is thus a win-win activity for all involved.
