以上幾位回答者話，大陸學生比香港學生聰明 ，我唔同意。你地話，大陸學生比香港學生聰明，係因為大陸學生讀好多課外書，咁樣，只係話大陸學生比香港學生勤力!大陸學生係唔係比香港學生聰明，我地就唔會好肯定咁話係定係唔係，但係之前個幾位話大陸學生讀好多課外書，咁我可以肯定，大陸學生的的確確比香港學生勤力!

其實大陸學生或者香港學生聰明是一樣的 , 因香港是自由資訊流通的地方 , 可以接觸世界不同文化無論好與懐 , 反之大陸學生在國內所能接觸的都是有限資訊所以甚至可以說香港學生聰明理應更勝大陸學生一籌, 但香港學生因周圍太多好玩的了 ,psp , 網上遊戲 , 出街玩............等. 不能集中精神去處理一件事 , 反之新來港學生,初來步到香港對他們言而是很陌生的地方 , 他們多把精神集中於學習上久而久之學業上大多越香港學生 .所以大陸學生和香港學生同樣聰明的 , 只是集中力放在那裏 , 講到玩大陸學生同香港學生無得揮la.

I think the differences between newcomer students and the local students is that newcomer students seem to be study harder than the local ones because they treasurethe chances to study in HK and most of them feel like their english levels might not be catch up with the standard and they try even harder. Most of the local students take it for granted.
