For supply curve, what does price mean?

supply 的定義係「the relation between quantity supplied and the market price of the goods」. 而supply curve係向上傾斜的.

解釋係:
貨品價格是由market demand 同market supply 兩者互相作用, 先會定出market price,
有equilibrium market price, 然後供應者根據呢個price 決定quantity supplied
一件貨品的價格(selling price)愈高, 理論上賣家可以賺的利潤便會愈高.
所以佢的quantity supplied 就會愈高. 這是假設左邊際成本係「more or less the same」

答番問題,
儘管成本隨供應量上升而上升, 但由於市價的上升大於成本的上升幅度, 所以賣家會供應更多貨品在市場上銷售。

AL話supply curve係大致基於 marginal cost curve而(厘)定的, 而由於「邊際報酬遞減定律」，邊際成本是會隨著生產量上升而同時上升(不需明, 可以齋記), 咁所以supply curve 也是向上斜的.
