Don't worry. Please try the following methods
(1)First buy a book called "Learning composition"在本書的面上有一個電燈胆的. Learn those useful phrases and memorize some of them you think they are useful to yourself.
Keep reading SCMP youth post and news can help you too. Write down those words you don't know and find out their meanings.

(2)Second, consolidate your grammar. Buy a book called "develop skill gram & usage" by C. Harris, published by Aristo

You should at least know what are
(a)transitive verb (can use passive voice[被動式] such as write, do, buy and draw) and intransitve verb (can't use passive voice such as happen, occur and die. Please remember The man is died; What is happened to him; The case has been occurred.
All those sentences are wrong due to the use of passive voice. Calling off the verb "is "will be all right
(b)conditional sentences. (i)If it "rains", I "will stay" [or "stay"] at home可能性95% (ii)If it "rained", I "could stay" at home可能性<15% (iii)If it "had rained", I "could have stayed" at home.可能性0% Pay more attention to the use of verb

(c)participle use for "ed" passive voice/用於人, for "ing" active voice/用於事 (i.e. The book bought(past participle) on sunday containing(present participle) a lot of information are useful to me. 原本句形是The book which was bought on sunday which contains a lot of information are useful to me. 而participle就把which was 刪去和which contains 改成containing.即被動式加"ed"而主動加"ing"

(d)use of conjunction.
(i)有although 不用but;有becasue 不用so
(ii)Besides[除了]Besides chemistry, I like physiology most.(除了化學之外,我最喜歡生理學)和except[除了]的分別. All students like playing computer games, except me.(除了我之外,所有學生喜歡打機)

(d)The use of noun clauses. Pay more attention to it. It always occurs in MC. What I want to know is what time it is NOT "is it". Why I need to read this book is ......

(e)Words need to use -ing form such as avoid, suggest and keep. And words need to use bare infinitive .

(3)Buy DVDs such as desperate housewives, terminator II, & sex and the city. Because of the chinese subtitle(中文字幕), and simple English, you can know what the actors are talking about and also you can learn words from them. Keep watch film, news and DVDs from the day you buy them until you finish your listening test.

(4)For oral, watching DVDs as the above mentioned ones can help you a lot.

If you have time, buy this story book "The definitive edition The Diary Of A Young Girl Anne Frank" ,a good story book for F.5 student. $66 in Commerical press商務. You can learn a lot of good words.

佢地d方法太長
我有兩個方法,好易,但最有效

1,借勁人既作文
一來睇到d岩既grammar,知到邊d字應該幾時用
二來可以背哂佢地d靚既字眼,例如however, in addition可以幾時用同埋點用等等,可以整靚自己篇文

2.平時做hw開住電腦,一諗到咩字想知英文點解就上yahoo dictationary查
仲要查埋d同義反義詞,同埋詞性
最重要係知道呢個字點用,睇yahoo字典上面既example

提升英文能力，有很多細微方法都可不經不覺做到
1) 每天抽10至15分鍾看英文台或收聽英文電台，初時聽不明也不要緊，慢慢可以習慣它的速度
2) 每天溫5個英文字，了解它的意思、用法及造句，之後嘗試自己造句
3) 隨身攜帶小字張及筆，於街上看到英文字不懂的時候，先抄下回家後再查
開始可以掌握到基本英文，可看英文報紙，每日一章，認識生字，也可以知道其用法，如果寫得更流暢
如果要快，首先找個朋友練習，找個話題用英文對話，有問題發問及指出對方不對的地方
