a)First year:1000
Second year:1600
Third year:2200
Nth Year:100+(N-1)600

b)12*1000*N+12*600*N*(N-1)/2

C)Never,
600+100(N-1)=1000+600(N-1)
500+100N=400+600N
500N=100
N=0.2
Wrong Question?
Year 1 2 3 4 5 6
Peter 1000 1600 2200 2800 3400 4000
Tony 600 700 800 900 1000 1100
The difference is increasing

1(a).1000 + 600 x N

1(b)1000 + 600N

1(c)600 + 100Y = 1000 + 600N

100Y = 400 + 600N

Y = 4 + 1.5N (Have N because it is not a Variable!)

1a. Peter's monthly salary in the Nth year
1000+600^n

1b. Total amount earn during his first Nth year
[1000+600^(n-1)] * 12

1c. Never, as the Tony basic salary and the increase rate is less than Peter. And they both start together. So Tony's Monthly salary will never equal to Peter's.
