It depends on if it should be brown or not, a brown orange isn't good.

For cooked meat, chocolate and coffee, certainly.

For fruit, not so much.

Otherwise I imagine it's a matter of personal preference.

There is no word in the English language that rhymes with orange. There are lots of words that rhyme with brown, and one describes you-clown.

Neither is better. Each has its own purpose. I prefer orange, probably.
