Do you mind if I answer in English?
Firstly, you should know what will be tested. There are seven questions.
(1) You should be able to identify simple time like 2/4, 3/4, compound time like 6/8, 9/8, 12/8 and also irregular time like 5/4,5/8,7/8.
(2) You need to have good sense in time intervals. You should be able to use the words major, minor , augmented, perfect and diminished and express them as Roman notation such as I, IV. When the two notes are more than an octave apart, you need to put the word " compound " before the description, e.g. compound minor 3rd.
(3) You also need to apply time intervals in transposition, for example down a perfect fifth. Remember to insert accidentals where necessary.
(4) You need to memorise some common foreign words used for performance directions such as allegro, a tempo as the meanings of these words may be asked. This is a question consists of any theory items in the syllabus. In my opinion, this is the only thing you can study for this question.
(5) This is a very important part. You need to know the keys very well, from one sharp to six sharps and from one flat to six flats, both major and minor keys. Remember you need to insert accidents in minor keys, e.g. the leading notes in harmonic minors.
(6) You can choose to compose a melody for musical instruments or voices in this question. I have chosen to write for musical instrument when I took the exam. It is a must that the total number of bars, including the given ones equal to eight and join every two bars with a sur.
(7) You need to identify the chords as I,II,IV,V in this question. The important thing is that you need to identify the correct key first.
I am sorry that I took Grade 5 Theory 4 years ago and the syllabus may be slightly different. You had better ask your teacher about that.
You can do some exercises and pastpapers. I think the series of Music Theory in Practice are very useful. And the very important thing is that you need to ask your teacher if you have anything you don't understand.
Hope this helps and wish you success in your exam! I will be taking Grade 8 Theory next month too.
