咁如果ionic compound分成2層, 係 x=>ions
Each x in Sodium Chloride contains 1 sodium ion and 1 chloride ion

x = formula unit (式單位)Formula unit is based on the chemical formula of the ionic compound.
For example, the formula unit of NaCl contains 1 Na+ ion and 1 Cl- ion.
One mole example, the formula unit of Al2O3 contains 2 Al3+ ions and 3 O2- ions.
