我想問問d中三的gammer

can not = cannot
但正確既用法係cannot.唔可以分開
所以can not係唔岩的

如果好似下面個個人咁講can not 就係意思唔同左因為有個 既東西存在但有個問題佢話 u CAN NOT swin (你可以唔游水)如果係咁用既話.唔係應該係 not 後面加 to的嗎?因為好少人會咁講= =just like.i have the decision to decide whether im going to eat the meal or notso are u going to tell me : u CAN NOT eat?怪怪地._.?

唔係呀.... can not 可以係 o岩 ga

首先, can not 唔等如 cannot

cannot 就係你平時學的「不可以」, 「不能」的意思... eg you CANNOT swim (你不能游泳)

can not 的意思係「可以(選擇)不」 eg you CAN NOT swim (你可以[選擇]不游泳)

例如可以點用呢... eg if you do not want to do it, you CAN NOT do it (如果你不想做, 可以[選擇]不做)

係 grammatically correct 的, 但我懷疑呢個用法 (can not) 比較 informal, 同埋用口講出來的時候容易混淆.... 如果想 100% o岩, 就用 can choose not to 代替啦~ eg you CAN CHOOSE NOT TO swim / if you do not want to do it, you CAN CHOOSE NOT TO do it

回應返上面....you can not to do it 係唔 o岩 grammar ga....因為冇左個 main verb 呀....要 you can DECIDE not to do it, 或者 you can CHOOSE not to do it, 或者 you can CONSIDER not to do it etc 先得 ga~

[ can not ] is not correct.

CANNOT
eg : I cannot go to dinner with you tonight.
