I think you should tell your orthodontist about your concern...........

I guess...your lower teeth may be more outward than upper before.......
If you dont do surgery in these case, the teeth should be shift inward to compensate the abnormality.........

By the way, I haven't see your case.....just guessing....better tell your concern and he/she will explain to you or treat for you...........
