Actually a part u are right

if u want to be more 文雅, but not 口語 (文雅好d)

product of 4 and c, square of b is much better than four c and b square

But b part...

"x over y plus z" is wrong...

Because The teacher don't know U are Talking about x/(y+z) or (x/y) + z

Therefore

" and then " is very important

Once again If u want to be 文雅,

U should use "divide x by y" other than x over y

But if u don't want to write "and then add z to the quotient",

U can juz write " and then add z"

your ans. is right but not so good!
In the test or exam, the teacher wouldn't deduct your answers's marks.
