I'll try my best to answer coz I am catholic.
1. Have to wear white or non-colourful clothes for 1 - 3 months.
2. No bright, shimmering make-up or jewels within 1 - 3 months.
3. No celebrations (marriages) in a year-time (family members only).
4. Maybe need to be a vegetarian for a year. (not sure about this, need to ask).
