Acura, as previously stated, is the "upscale" wing of Honda North America. They use common chassis, engine, and other bits to make cars strictly for the US. One exception to this would be the fact that cars that are badged as "Acura" in the States are badged as "Hondas" in other markets (namely the Euro and Japanese Markets). The Acura TSX is the European Accord. The now dead Acura RSX was the European and Japanese Honda Integra.
Cool?

no, Acura doesn't remake Honda cars. Acura is the luxury line of Honda - a different division like Lexus is also Toyota.

acura is actually an american company. but no they dont "remake" hondas. they build from the ground up like other companies. and my acura was probably more reliable than some of the "american" companies like chevy (which uses more foreign parts than foreign companies actually use)
