Form One Geography

Largest latitudes are those latitudes which have the largest angles from the imaginary circle drawn around the Earth at a distance halfway between the poles.

So, there are two largest latitudes.
90° N for the North Pole ,
90° S for the South Pole.

代表著北極和南極。

在Equator赤道和兩極之間, 有一些圓圈有特定的名稱, 代表一些特別的latitutes:
Arctic Circle北極圈 — 66° 33′ 39″ N
Tropic of Cancer北回歸線 — 23° 26′ 21″ N
Tropic of Capricorn南回歸線 — 23° 26′ 21″ S
Antarctic Circle南極圈 — 66° 33′ 39″ S
