The fraction after numerator of 3/5 increases by 20%,and the denominator decreases by 10% is=3(1+20%)/5(1-10%)
=3(120%)/5(90%)
=3.6/4.5
=4/5
The percentage increase in value is=
(4/5 - 3/5)/(3/5)*100%
=(1/5)*(5/3)*100%
=100/3 %
=33.3%
