英文我gerund

Simply speaking, gerund = verb+ing, e.g. swimming, running.

We use gerund because we can't put 2 verbs in a sentence.
E.g. 1 Swimming (gerund) is (verb) good for our health.
E.g. 2. I like (verb) swimming (verb).
