Mandarin The official national standard spoken language of China, which is based on the principal dialect spoken in and around Beijing. Also called Guoyu, Putonghua.

Guoyu/ Putonghua 只系"國語" 既中文直譯﹐ 好似 Canton 甘﹐ 都可以叫 Guangdong. 你中文直譯過黎﹐ 有機會D 人 (鬼老) 會唔知你講咩

You can say MANDARIN in Taiwan and PUTONGHUA in Mainland China.
Sometimes we will say Guo Yu as well.
