For a guy i think the best place to shop is online. i know it is quite expensive but i think its worth it. To buy from online means, go to the website of abercrombie, hollister and american eagle, they got some really cool men's outfit. Especially for american eagle, they got sale during xmas, and the sale are really big and nice. The t-shirt for guys are only around 100 HKD, but they are nicer than many many japanese style t-shirt in Hong Kong.

Of course it depends what type you are. If you are very tall, then i think it will be nice to get some american clothing cos that is exactly what you need.

By the way, do NOT go to CHOCOLATE i think it is cheap but the style is really bad. too simple. does not worth that much.

Maybe you can try FCUK, the men's shirts are very nice in there.

For jeans, the best will be Levi's. They still have the best jeans, they range from 600-1000 HKD.

If you can spend more, please try ENERGY, it is the men's line from Miss Sixty, if you're tall enough it will look very nice on you.

Recently i discover that ZARA is very good for men's clothes too, they are not too expensive, and the style is very nice and high class too. you spend less but dress similar to those expensive brands.
