merry christmas → merry X' mas ?

In early Greek versions of the New Testament, the letter Χ (chi), is the first letter of Christ (Χριστός). Since the mid-sixteenth century Χ, or the similar Roman letter X, was used as an abbreviation for Christ.

所以X就即是等於Christ.
正確地說，不是x'mas，而是沒有 ' ，是xmas，因為x已代表了christ。

Because X'mas 的 X = 十字架 (又是christ的簡稱)
所以X'mas可以讀作christmas lor~
