Maybelline is quite cheap and has a reputable quality for its mascara. I've tried "Great lash" which has been discontinued, "Volume Turbo Boost" is easy to apply and doesn't clump up. You can try it on at their cosmetic counter.
For foundation, Loreal has a wide range of shades, it's good for beginner. But for myself foundation is the one makeup product that I will invest the most in. Because it applies directly on your face. So a good quality product such as those from " Ettusais ", " IPSA ", " DIOR " etc is a good choice. If you have good skin, you can even try tinted moisturizer. It is natural and provide minumum coverage. You could try Laurier Mercier (

For Blush, I just recently discovered a great products which is really cheap too. Have you heard of CANMAKE? You can found them at most of the Watson's stores. Their blushes are as smooth as those of Dior's but the price is so much lower...like between $58 to $68. It's from Japan and been featured in many Japanese magazines, so I don't worry about its quality. If you want to look natural, try their not shimmery peachy color...if I remember it correctly, the number should be PW05...but you better check which one you like most...ok? and Lipgloss as well...I got 09 and it looks fantastic on me.
I hope these help...and if you have further questions, just feel free to ask, I will be more than happy to share with you!
Merry Christmas!
