Hi i'm a mechanical engineering student in Canada and I am planning on returning to HK to complete a masters degree ether in a management or an engineering management related discipline.
Does anyone have any recommendations on which unis in hk have good masters programs of this sort?
Also, I want to ask how competitive it is to get in a masters program in Hong kong.

Thank You.

I suggest you to think twice making a master study in engineering and in Hong Kong.

Technical-wise engineering, whichever discipline, in HK is not strong; you can tell by checking a majority of billion dollar size projects from either private or public sectors are outsourced to overseas consulting and contracting firms.

Perspective-wise, HK is positioned as a finance center. Engineering has never been a major focus from investment and development points of view.

There are tons of qualified engineers in HK holding master and even doctoral degrees; and they are making only a fraction of incomes of their secondary schoolmates working in the banking sector.

If you love engineering, don't make your career here in HK. If you love HK, try switching to other area by taking an MBA. I may sound crude and absolute to you, but I am saving you years of your life time to find out this truth.

HK CityU's EngD in Engineering Management, MSc in Engineering Management, MSc in Enterprise Technology and Management, MA in Operations and Supply Chain Management are very good.

Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, Management Science, etc are not competitive in HK. Very easy to get a place.
