hello there! for HSBC they have introduced the 保安編碼器, which gives u a new password (in addition to your own) for logging into internet banking. This extra security feature means that even if someone knows your password he/she still cannot log in unless they have your 保安編碼器.

保安編碼器 will be sent in by HSBC and you will have to register it (each one has a serial number). So, yes you cannot log in until the 保安編碼器 has arrived.

the additional password given by the 保安編碼器 will change every ~10 seconds (if i remember it correctly). So if it is 1234567 this time, it may be 0987654 next time - totally random and wont be the same.
