One Child Policy saves China and the world from population disaster. If there is no One Child Policy, the population of China may have reached 1.7 billion already. There will not be sufficient food, water, education, jobs for all Chinese people as well as the people in the world. Then, it will create social instability and even wars.
Therefore, we can see that One Child Policy provides the following benefits for China:
1) reduce the demand for food and water
2) reduce the demand for education and jobs
3) resources can be input into fewer children so that each child can have better education. Subsequently, the quality of Chinese inproves
4) the business for condemn becomes a big business in China
5) Since more resources are input to Children, therefore, higher quality products for children can have bigger market.

Yes, I think it is help a lot with the population. If someone want more than one child, they have to pay money to the Chinece government and it helps the overnmernt to gain more money. Also, the parents will focus on their only child and push all the money and material to train them be a sucessful person, and it helps social to make less prison.
