New Year要係Happy New Year?
點解唔可以係Happy Christmas同Merry New Year?

You 'd better say,
'Merry Christmas'&' Happy New Year',
it's the fixed pattern in english.

merry is belong the tradional and old english.

happy is more modest language.

and, this is because grammer, and speak for themselves.
