Backup harddisk whole computer system

I want to make a DVD backup for my computer (whole system). I use an external DVD recorder and I haven't floppy device. I want to use the backup DVD to boot the computer and recover all the system.

I already use Ghost 2002, but it cannot support only an external DVD device to backup.

Any commnet? Thank you.

更新1:

I already have an external USB DVD recorder ASUS. Can Ghost 10 make a recover bootable disk without floppy? Ghost 2002 should be used a floppy to built up an external DVD driver, so I can't recover my computer using an external USB DVD because I haven't floppy on my laptop.

The maximum size of DVD is 4.7GB (Single) and 9.4GB for (Double) which is not common for user.
Your Window system is over 2.5GB, it should be over 10GB including all other programs and data.
Although Ghost 2002 can condense the size, it is not possible to absorb your whole system to a DVD.
You should be an external harddisk to backup your whole system instead of DVD
