LCD widescreen

I just bought a new wide screen monitor, but i dont know how to change the window to view as widescreen. Everything my computer display are wide, i want to change it to normal. Please help me.

I'm using Windows XP SP1 and Windows 2000 pro SP4.

please config your windows screen resolution to LCD native resolution:
"" Control panel -> Display -> settings-> screen resolution ""
If you can't modfiy to follow resolution, please update the display card driver.
OR your display card can't support follow resolution.

19" widescreen LCD native resolution usually use 1440 x 900
20" widescreen LCD native resolution usually use 1680 x 1050
22" widescreen LCD native resolution usually use 1680 x 1050
24" widescreen LCD native resolution usually use 1900 x 1200

your monitor should be able to change the screen size change the one goes left to right will be ok
