A shop keeper bought a number of glassware for a total cost of $3600.In the first week,he sold 60 pieces ,each one at a price of $18 more than its original cost.After that,12 pieces were broken accidentally.In the second week,he sold all the remaining glassware,each piece at a price of $6 less than its original cost.On the whole,he could still make a profit of $480.What was the original cost of each piece of glassware?

To comlete the answer

For the solution of $50, the total no.of glassware is 3600/50 = 72

But first the first week it sold 60 , then block 12. The second week still have some glassware to sold . So the total no. of glassware 60 + 12 + something which >72

So the solution of $50 is incorrect.

That means $36 is correct
