1. Reaction for OH- gain electrons is not found. 4OH - (aq) + 4 electrons becomes O2 (g) + 2H2O (l)2. Reaction rate in decending order should be: a b c
Redox reaction: Zn (s) + 2H+ (aq) becomes Zn 2+ (aq) + H2 (g)
It is due to larger surface area for reaction, hence faster reaction rate. NaCl is not a catalyst for reaction but it dilute the diluted acid conecntration and hence slower reaction.
Reaction for d produces SO2 only.
