Compare Radial With Ring Circuit

Radial Circuit:
Current is flowing throught the designed path to the loading points.
Adv:
The current is predictable;
The Cable laying work is much simple.

Ring Circuit:
Current is flowing through two numbers of feeder to the loading points.
Adv:
The circuit is save, since there are two paths. Once there is fault, the path can be opened for maintenance (Provided that one path can support for full load)

The Copper loss can be minimized. (Since there are two paths connected to the loads)

Two path can run at two different locations, so it would be safer.

Disadv:
If single path could not support for the full loading when it is designed, then the cable is subjected to overload in this case.
