or $980 / (1-0.05) / (1-0.2)
= $1250
15.(a) $320 / 70%
or $320 / 0.7
or $320 / (1-0.3)
=457.14 (correct to 2 d.p.)
(b) The cost is
($457.14 - $320) / (1-0.48)
or ($457.14 - $320) / 0.52
$264.73
so the profit is $320-$264.73 = $55.27
so the profit rate is $55.27 / $320 = 17.27%
