Currently Cathay Pacific A340-600 are scheduled for the following flights:
CX830/CX831 Hong Kong-New York (JFK) Daily (Non-Stop)
CX254/CX255 Hong Kong-London Heathrow Daily (Non-stop)
Cathay Pacific A340-600 are fitted with different seats compare to other Cathay Pacific fleet... And there has been pretty good feedback from passengers regarding to the aircraft...
The only problem with Cathay Pacific A340-600 are that the aircraft is too long which the crew are not too happy about... Also, 2 of the 3 A340-600 that Cathay Pacific got are the early A340-600 production which have heavier wings and other problems... This has cause those 2 aircraft been in maintiance regularily but the problem has improved...
Now... Cathay Pacific is maximise the use of their A340-600 with barely anytime spare for the jet to stay at Hong Kong... This is because the aircraft will return to their leaser (ILFC) in 2007 and the last aircraft in 2008...
